A Token Of My Thanks

Hi all,

I wanted to thank you again for all of the great support that you have shown Outrun the Bear over the past couple of weeks. It really has been great to see this project grow and know that soon you'll have my game on your table.

As a token of my thanks I wanted to offer you all some of my time in the way of live play sessions. So for the next couple of weekends I'll be making myself available for 20 sessions (one hour each) to play Outrun the Bear with anyone who signs up. These sessions will be held via zoom using either Tabletop Simulator or Tabletopia whichever you prefer. When you sign up the session will just be you and me so feel free to invite some friends and family, or let me know if you'd like it to be open for other backers to join in.

Second Stretch Goal Devoured!

Hi Runners,

Thank you all for your continued support and excitement for Outrun the Bear. We just passed our second stretch goal! I'll be contacting Andrea the illustrator right after this update to let him know we need some more thematic standee poses. 

With one goal down, another is revealed. This one is for an expansion that I'm REALLY excited to put in the box!

The Park Pass expansion provides an asymmetrical experience for Outrun the Bear by adding a new component to the game. Each runner will come with a unique Park Pass that has

• the runner's name, picture, and unique flavor text
• a special ability for that runner.

If you prefer to keep Outrun the Bear on the lighter side, the abilities part of this expansion will be optional. If you're playing the vanilla version, your Park Pass would serve as a visual cue on the table of who has which runner standee.

I'll be updating the story with more information about the Park Pass expansion when we reach that $22k mark.

First stretch goal reached and next revealed

Hi Runners,

Your support for Outrun the Bear continues to be amazing, and today we reached our first stretch goal! The next goal aims at adding some more immersion to Outrun the Bear by updating the artwork of the runner standees in action poses. Here's an example that I already have, taken from the cover artwork (but more new artwork needs to be done):

They'll still be double sided with a front image and a different back image, just a little more awesome! It's only another 15% until we get there so I'm sure it'll happen soon. Looking forward to sharing what comes after.

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us to reach this point! It really is an honor to see how much you are all looking forward to playing Outrun the Bear!

We still have some awesome stretch goals in store for you 😁, so stay on the lookout as those are unlocked!
